What this fixes

The problems people bring us.

The 40-minute hold queue

When it breaks at 2am, the partner who sold it has moved on and the number rings a triage desk.

Service levels you find out about later

Response times buried in a schedule you were never shown, and no credit when they are missed.

Regional handoffs

Three escalation tiers built to slow things down, each one needing your estate explained again.

A supplier and a service desk that do not talk

The kit came from one place and the support from another, and the fault falls between them.

What we do

Capabilities, in full.

What is inside a managed service with us, from the desk that answers the phone to the projects that follow.

Managed operations
  • 24×7 monitoring and support, 365 days a year
  • Service desk with real engineers who explain things in plain English
  • Patch management, Windows, Linux and Kubernetes support
  • UK-wide field engineers when it needs hands on site
Cloud and modern workplace
  • Azure, AWS and hybrid cloud, designed vendor-independently
  • Microsoft 365, endpoint management and collaboration tooling
  • Telephony and meeting rooms as part of the same service
Security
  • Layered, monitored cyber security across data, devices and people
  • Physical security too: access control and CCTV where it matters
  • AI readiness: gap analysis, secure integration and AI security audits
How it works with us
  • One accountable relationship: you speak to the people who own the outcome
  • No regional handoffs or escalation tiers built to slow things down
  • Strong in healthcare and manufacturing, where downtime has a cost you can measure
  • Service levels, credits and exit terms published at 64teq.com/sla, not hidden in a schedule
The service levels, in one line each
  1. P1 Critical. A site, core system or business-critical service down for most users, or a major security incident in progress: acknowledged and assigned to an engineer within 30 minutes, updates hourly, four-hour target.
  2. P2 High. A core system degraded for a group, or one person who cannot work at all: response within an hour, updates every four hours, eight-hour target.
  3. P3 Medium. A user or small group affected with a workaround: four-hour response, daily updates, three Business Days.
  4. P4 Low. Minor issues and standard requests: next Business Day response, five Business Days. A missed P1 or P2 response earns a service credit, and if more than a fifth of P1 responses are missed in each of three months running you can leave without the early termination charge.

Delivered with our technical partner Next2IT, a UK managed service operation that is ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus certified, government-approved and a Microsoft partner. 64TEQ holds the contract, owns the relationship and is accountable for the outcome. The full schedule of service levels, credits, what is and is not included and how a service order ends is published at 64teq.com/sla.

In the last week three people in my team have commented on how brilliant 64TEQ have been. Once you've asked for something there's certainty it will be done, and they take accountability for issues outside their control, couriers and faulty hardware included, and get them rectified fast.

Straight answers

Questions we get about this.

Is the service desk really 24/7?
Where the service order provides for 24x7 cover, monitoring and the service desk operate at all times, 365 days a year. Other services run in working hours unless the order says otherwise. It is written into paragraph 3 of the service levels.
Who actually answers the phone?
Engineers at our technical partner Next2IT's UK service desk, under a contract 64TEQ holds and is accountable for. You are not passed between companies: if you are unhappy, you ring us.
What are the response times?
P1 within 30 minutes, P2 within an hour, P3 within four hours, P4 next Business Day, measured within your service hours. Response means the desk has acknowledged the incident and assigned it to an engineer. Resolution times are targets because fixes often depend on vendors; response is a commitment, and a missed P1 or P2 response earns a credit.
What is the minimum term?
Set in each service order. After it, the order renews for 12 months at a time unless either side gives 90 days' notice. We remind you in writing 120 days before each renewal, and if the reminder is late you get a fresh 30 days to give notice, so it never rolls over by accident.
What happens if we want to leave?
You can end a service order for any reason on 30 days' notice; before the end of a term that carries the early termination charge set out in the schedule. Whatever the reason, within 30 days we hand over the documentation, credentials and your data from our tools, remove our tools and cooperate with whoever comes next. Three person days of that are included.
Are you Cyber Essentials certified?
Our delivery partner is Cyber Essentials Plus and ISO 27001 certified. 64TEQ itself does not yet hold Cyber Essentials and does not claim it; where a service order requires a certification we hold it before that order starts.
