64TEQ Tools End-of-support checker

End-of-support checker · free, runs in your browser

Find out what is still being patched, until when and what replaces it.

Running unsupported software is the finding every insurer and auditor looks for first, so it is worth knowing before they do. Windows and Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange, Microsoft 365 apps, network kit, servers and more, with the replacement named alongside the date.

End-of-support checker

Is it still being patched? Not the same question as the warranty.

Paste what you run, one per line: Windows versions, Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange, Office, vSphere, Linux releases and the hardware families they sit on. We give you the date the maker stops fixing it, and how long that leaves you.

How this differs from the warranty check. A warranty is about one box and its serial number: will the maker repair it. End of support is about the product line or software version: will it still get security updates. That ends for everyone on the same day, whatever you paid, and it's the date auditors and insurers ask about.

Software and operating systems have fixed public dates and we hold them here. Hardware end-of-service dates vary by model, so for those we tell you what to send us.

What each line was read as, the date support ends and how long that leaves appear here, with anything already unsupported at the top.

How it works

Four steps, no account.

Type

A product name, a version or a model. Partial names are fine.

See the date

Mainstream and extended support end dates, held as at September 2026, with a plain reading of what that means for patches.

See the replacement

What the current equivalent is, so the conversation moves from "it is old" to "here is the plan".

Plan it

Anything ended or ending soon can go straight into a replacement plan with us.

Straight answers

Questions about this tool.

Where do the dates come from?
Manufacturers' published lifecycle pages, held in the tool as at September 2026 and updated as they change. If something is missing, ask Agent TEQY or a person and we add it.
What is the difference between mainstream and extended support?
Mainstream support includes new features and non-security fixes; extended support usually means security patches only. After extended support ends, nothing arrives, and that is the line insurers and Cyber Essentials assessors care about.
What if my product is not listed?
Tell us. Agent TEQY can usually answer straight away, and the entry is added for the next person.
Can you replace what has ended?
Yes. The checker names the replacement; we quote it, configure it and, for servers and network kit, plan the migration.
